Maker Faire

It looks like I'll be going to Maker Faire Detroit on Sunday July 31. Likely after noon, though possibly earlier if I decide to blow off church, which I haven't done for many months now. I was going to go on Saturday but Tom has a mandatory band meeting that afternoon. Hmm, Tom would have to blow off church too, and it's generally more trouble to get ready for them to do without both of us than it is to just go and do the tech stuff ourselves.

I made a recording of some hummingbirds at the feeder today. I was thinking that since I want to learn how to do microphone input into a microcontroller, an interesting project would be to build a hummingbird detector, which could then trigger a camera or something.
