Last year I bought a GPS logger in order to geotag photos on summer vacation. I never got anywhere during the summer so it never got used.

I now have an Android phone via work. A free app on there and the phone is now a GPS logger with more options than the dedicated one. I guess I can put the other one up on eBay now. Never used.

Other apps that may replace other devices: ebook reader (another device not needed, I didn't think this would replace it but the screen is outstanding on this phone), metronome, voice recorder (not NEARLY a replacement for the ZOOM recorder but could be useful), flashlight (way brigher than the keychain light, though obviously not nearly as bright as my 300 lumen lights)

As for podcast/ebook listening, this doesn't replace the MP3 player entirely yet because it's touchscreen and also I don't see a way to control playback speed independently of pitch. The touchscreen thing might be solved with a bluetooth headset if the headset's buttons will play/pause, which I think some will. I'd be surprised if there isn't an app for speeding up listening as well.
