Winding down
Dec. 10th, 2022 07:06 amThe next-to-last job I had at work was bounced back to the originating team a week ago. Yesterday, the very last one was redirected to the team that's replacing me; since they're going to have to maintain it, the managers want them to write it in the first place.
Fine by me, I really think the whole thing is a bad idea.
In any case that finally takes me down to the "advisory" role that the last three months were SUPPOSED to be in the first place. In reality the AWS move required a ton of work, I was working up to 14 hour days in the last week.
I've got a full weekend coming up, today is walking with friends at Huron Meadows metropark, then lunch with them, then going to watch a Tuba Christmas concert that Gabe is playing in, at 4PM in Howell.
Sunday we're playing handbells at church in the morning, then I have my first-ever platelet donation in Ann Arbor at 12:30. I hear they take 2 or 3 hours. I'd like to do a lot of them, we'll see. I'm sure I can swing one a month at least.
