So many projects
Jan. 3rd, 2023 05:52 amI bought a bicycle trainer, set that up yesterday and gave it a rip. The connection or something isn't stable, as I was riding at a steady pace it kept bouncing around reading 0 watts for 10 seconds (and my avatar stopping by the side of the road). It's using BlueTooth, it'll also do ANT+ which is the standard for this sort of thing. I ordered and ANT+ USB dongle and also a heart rate chest band since I've been thinking about that anyway. We'll see how that goes.
I lined up all the ducks yesterday for going over to Kalamazoo to buy the motorcycle I've decided on, except even at the 800 number AAA had nobody to help transfer insurance, so I'm going over there this morning. And of course the forecast is now for possible heavy rain. Which is why I wanted to do it yesterday. I would have waited until later in the week but this dealer is the only one with any stock in Michigan, and they only had one on the floor. When I called, it turned out THAT one was already sold and they're getting their VERY last one out of a crate and putting it together for me.
I am now starting to think about the many, many projects I have thought up to do when I have time. I really need to do a full empty, refurb and replace on the lab. It's just a heap of junk in there. And I would really like to pursue getting a zoning variance for a 3rd garage bay so I can have a nice shop AND be able to park my vehicles inside.
