Upcoming travel
Sep. 23rd, 2023 06:57 amThe ducks (or is it cats) are lining up. I'll be heading to Ohio Sunday to help T pack, then Monday morning loading it all into the trailer and moving it all to the vicinity of Peoria where he has a new job lined up.
Then sometime later that week, heading to Minneapolis via the Keweenaw, hauling a bunch of stuff north in the process. In MPLS I'll be doing a new roof for AT. Realistically that will take me a week or so plus weather, since it's a 3000 square foot roof, plus an outbuilding and a small wing off the back. Plus the 3 days it will take me to get there, and a day back. I will probably be gone for 2 weeks. It may take less than that since we've gotten rooftop delivery of the materials, and I've never had that before. I don't know how much time it will save. It should definitely allow me to work more hours per day than my normal of wearing myself out by hauling shingles up a ladder.
I'll definitely miss the FCB cider mill concert, which is sad, but I'll be back WELL in time for the spooky-time concert.
The cat will be insufferable.
