Out of print for many years, thankfully back from the Naval Institute Press. J picked up a copy a while back and I discovered it on the shelves. Yes, I read something on dead trees.

Very funny, much in the style of other similar wry adventure stories of the 40s and 50s.

I loved that one. I forget where I heard about it, probably WWDTM or something like that, however, I got it this past summer and yes, it was one of the few books on dead trees that I was good enough not to put down.

Definitely a worthwhile read!

Every time I see an OSS book on the new releases table, I turn to the index and look for Roger Hall.

One of the major ones a couple of years ago actually talked about his misadventures getting deployed.
