Lens is f/2.8-4.5, 28-145mm equivalent, image stabilized
And it has a full Canon hot shoe so it'll work with external strobes.
I could probably replace both my point-n-shoot and my SLR with this (for as much as I use my SLR for). Though my daughter really likes the SLR, so I'd keep it around anyway.
