Wildlife Update

johnridleyI saw my first sandhill crane of the season riding home from work 2 weeks ago Wednesday; March 8, in a marshy area near a subdivision near Dexter.
First robin was on March 14 while coasting up to the back door at work.
Heard frogs chirping: March 20, afternoon, riding home from work (about 4 PM) in a shallow pond.
The goldfinches that have been hanging out in our backyard all winter have turned back gold again.
The birds are all singing in all the trees, there's lust in the air.
Spring's really trying to get here.
