How cool is this bug

Found this trying to get out of the screen today. He was running around like a demon, I caught him in a pill jar and put him in the fridge for a half an hour (thanks Tim for the idea). He took off after only about 30 seconds in the sun, but he did hold still long enough for a few photos.

Nope. For one thing, it's not a beetle. For the other, from a post earlier this year, THIS is an emerald ash borer:


FWIW, this particular bug has been identified as a cuckoo wasp.
