Skipping the blood drive today

johnridleyI couldn't give blood in Chelsea 2 weeks ago due to a cold. there's one at work today, and I'd planned on giving, but I do have a tiny residual bit of sniffles, so I think it's best I hold off for now.
In the future I'm going to check to see if they have the apheresis machine - they had it at Chelsea last time, but I didn't realize it until I was almost on the table. I told them they really should mention to people that it's there (it's only there some of the time). I use it when I can because it lets me get two donations in at once when I'm not sick.
