Millage proposal soundly defeated. I guess people around here are feeling the pinch.

Time to figure out how much money those 2 extra mills would have meant, and give them to the school anyway, I guess. I mean, besides the money we already give to band boosters every year.

Chelsea is already running really close to the bone, staffing wise, and there's not much left to cut. Also realise that that's via the grapevine.

AA.com says that many WISD superintendents have been saying that mid-year program cuts including building closures are 'on-the-table'.
