Hrm... I'm tempted to rant about Make: in general, but this is actually pretty nifty. I think being a real Maker Faire it'll be quite all right, as opposed to the many smaller ones which are basically groups of people re-doing things done in back issues.
I'm not a big fan of Make as a magazine, but as a movement it has promise. The magazine is all either trivial stuff or just show-and-tell of very complex builds.
