At Windycon, Phil mentioned that he'd drawn the original Unix daemons, from which the BSD daemon was derived. I hunted about on Wikipedia and confirmed the story, and found a copy of the artwork.



Of course, every geek knows this version of the BSD deamon (from the "Why BSD is superior to Linux" page):

No, I didn't! According to Wikipedia, there are only 4 known copies of that shirt. I wonder if it's original or a copy?

I generally breeze through the art show at a con in about 5 minutes; there's generally not much that I'm all that interested in. Perhaps I should slow down a bit next time.
