johnridleyIt said 17*F outside the house this morning, but that thermometer is up against the house; it was 5*F at low point during the ride in, plus a noticeable headwind (plus my own 15 MPH). Mostly OK, but this knit face mask I picked up is only going to be good for layering, not solo use; had it been any colder I would have stopped and added a gaiter. Also I think it would be a good idea to look for some toe covers. I really don't want to spend $200 on Lake shoes, and I really don't like riding with either full neoprene booties or hunting boots, and really it's only my toes that get cold.
