I wonder what could be wrong?

johnridleyA few months ago, the video on the MythTV box started getting flaky. Eventually I gave up and removed it, going back to the mainboard video (suboptimal since the TV doesn't do well with VGA input).
At the time I just yanked it and tossed it on a shelf without looking. This morning I just casually picked it up and looked. Yeah, I wonder what could possibly have gone wrong? Note also the inductor on the right and the heat discoloration on the nearby sticker.
So, for the saving of 40 cents or so for better caps, the entire $50 board is scrap. I'll probably try to resurrect it at some point, but this is irritating.
