johnridleyThis is an easy one for me. There's not even any point in looking. I never listened to any popular music at all until I was in college. I had plenty of classical and old stuff (my parents went to square dances, that sort of thing), but I didn't know anything, ANYTHING about any rock/pop songs. I didn't even listen to the radio.

Date: 2006-12-02 03:10 am (UTC)I actually know more of the hit songs from 1942 than from 1982 (my 18th year). And out of the 1982 songs that I recognized, I don't like most of them. The early 80's weren't much for music, IMHO.
