Is it wrong?

So, I've got this new 720p HD projector, and a new DVI-out upsampling DVD player, and I'm building a theater room/den to put it in. And I've been looking forward to getting it operational.

So what am I going to watch first?

I'm thinking MST3K, "Fire Maidens from Outer Space" or another of their better episodes.


Oh, sure, we'll probably watch Lord of the Rings very quickly, but for some reason watching MST on a big(ger) screen seems amusing.

I took the day off work today (OK, semi-off; if I'm home I check emails at work every hour or so, and wound up working about 4 hours) and got a lot accomplished.

We have a gargantuan sorting/cleaning up/organizing job coming up soon. There's a whole lot of stuff down there in the basement.

As a side note, today I discovered that a framing nailer can pop a 3 inch nail all the way through a finger so fast it doesn't even feel that bad. I've had more painful splinters. No broken bone, so I let it bleed for a few minutes, bandaged it up and got back to work. Yeah, I'll watch for infection.

The hole would probably be more interesting if you were going for some sort of "extreme piercing". Unfortunately, I can't think of an appropriate piece of jewelry.
