Mary said there was a jail bond issue (or something like that) on the ballot for Keweenaw County. I wonder what the issue was in Leelanau County. Benzie is right next to it while Alger is not far from Keweenaw. Eaton County is the outlier here.
And for the lowest voter turnouts: well, Cass, Berrien and St. Joe counties border each other and -- Indiana. Perhaps they identify more strongly with that state? Isabella is in central Michigan (another outlier) and Wayne County... oh gosh. Where to begin?
