Bike today

johnridleyFirst time on the bike (other than to go for a gallon of milk at the gas station 1/4 mile down the road) since late October.
Ow. Between 5 weeks off, low temps, headwinds and (mostly, I suspect) studded tires, it felt like molasses on the road. I probably don't strictly NEED to have the studded tires on, but since ice patches are always a possibility, I won't ride without them.
I should try to ride once a week during the winter. It's the only real exercise I'm getting these days. Come April or so I'll be out of busy season at work and I'll have met my short-term goals and I hope to go back to a more normal schedule.
