Mileage for 2010

johnridleyThis is a late post, but this is the first time I've ridden the bike this year, and only the second time since October. Hopefully I'll be back on the bike a bit more now, since I've achieved the short-term goal that was keeping me off the bike. There's another goal looming but it's vague at this point and I don't think I need to work 12 hour days 5 days a week to achieve it.
Riding with studded tires after months off the bike: ugh. In low gears most of the way, legs definitely feeling it. I don't think I'll be doing more than 2 days a week for a while.
Anyway, bike stats:
Jan 1 2011: 23085 miles
Jan 2 2010: 19823 miles
Net: 3262 miles
Several hundred miles under my normal yearly average, but with no riding the last 2 months, not unexpected. I won't be doing quite the mileage in the future either, since I've decided it's really not worth it to ride on winter days when there's been a bunch of snowfall in the last few days and the roads/shoulders are not clear.
