Chelsea schools are closed today due to "dangerous" wind chills. On my way in a cycled past a couple of kids waiting for the bus. I had the fun of circling back and delivering onto them the good news: get thee back inside, no school, yay! I wonder though, what do 2-income households do when school's closed?

AFAICT, Dexter *does* have school today, and somewhere along your route the district changes. Chelsea has much longer bus runs than Dexter, and they're concerned about what happens if a bus full of kids breaks down half an hour from the bus garage.

It was pretty close to our house, on Riker road, and I did ask them if they go to Chelsea schools before telling them that school was closed today. I've never seen a Dexter bus over there. Yes, Dexter is open today.
