I like this. From Woot.com's suggestions to the OED for new words - Gallifraud (n) a person who claims to "LOOOOOVE" Dr. Who, but who only started watching with the 10th Doctor.
Looks Like We Made It: Woot's in the Dictionary!

  • Tracy Lunquist - Don't hate us for coming in late. It wasn't available on TV in my market back in the day (at least, not that I was ever aware of)
  • John Ridley - No, but it's certainly all available now. I have every episode ever, just say the word. My kids started watching from "An Unearthly Child" a few weeks ago and got about 4 years into the series before my daughter headed off to fall term, and one thing she said was "nobody told me how good the old stories are."

As much as people constantly ache for the next episode, you'd think that they'd take advantage of the 30 years of back episodes that they haven't seen yet.
  • Tracy Lunquist - Actually, my life does not lack for stuff to watch, read, or experience. I am not pining for the next episode -- in fact I have a bunch of DVR'd episodes I haven't seen yet. I have not yet been willing to take the "first 8 doctors" productivity hit, but I'll let you know when that day comes.
  • Jeffrey Haas - Getting the old episodes legitimately is a bit harder. Netflix only carries subsets of the old series. The price that the BBC sells the episodes at was exorbitant.
