johnridleyL and I finally got around to watching the first episode of the new season of Doctor Who, the first one with Freema (Martha Jones) as the new companion.
Excellent, as expected.
At the end we watched the Confidential, and I realized that the Judoon are basically Vogons.
Then I went and checked out the names of the upcoming episodes to set up my inventory spreadsheet for the season, and there's an episode coming up titled "42".
The mind boggles.
Of course, Adams did write for the show at one time. In fact, a big chunk of the plot of Dirk Gently apparently came from a show that wasn't finished due to a strike.
