"And that’s why both groups are deeply devoted, emotionally invested, and impervious to rational argument."
"And that’s why both groups are deeply devoted, emotionally invested, and impervious to rational argument."
- Ann Totusek - So what about those of us who may own one or the other, but will happily use either? Are we atheists or agnostics? I think agnostics- an atheist would refuse to use either.
- Mike Garrahan - Universalists?
- John Ridley - Yeah, I don't think Agnostic fits. It'd be like someone who wanted to go to a religious service every week but just went to whatever was close-by. Definitely not Athiest, but probably not Agnostic either.
- Tracy Lunquist - Definitely Universalists. As an active participant in a UU congregation, I can state unequivocally that there is a lot of equivocation among UUs.
