No glass for the weekend

Crud, American Science and Surplus didn't ship my glass (ordered Tuesday) until this evening, so I'm not gonna get it until Monday. However, I have other stuff to do, including stuff on the printer (build a plywood enclosure for the power supplies, wind that black ABS onto a spool, etc) so it's just as well.

Today I took a hunk of broken glass and tried out the glass drill bit. Pretty neat, I've never drilled a hole in glass before. Of course, it turns out I bought a drill bit one size too small for a #8 screw so I have to buy another now. Oh well, can't really complain about having more tools.

I only complain if they wind up on the kitchen table/counter, on top of the birdseed bins, or on the floor in the bedroom. (IOW, if they're in my way.) (and yes, his tools have wound up in all of those places.)
