Just finished Shadow of the Giant (unabridged audiobook). Wow, that was really good. Very powerful at the end.
I've still got another book or two in the series. Shadow Puppets and Children of the Mind. OK, so I'm reading them out of order. Looking forward to Shadows in Flight now too.

It wasn't that long ago I worked my way through the audio versions of the Ender universe books in, more or less, internal chronological order. I'm also looking forward to Shadows in Flight since both series left threads hanging that it should help tie up.

I really like the way that production company does their audio books. The only problem is that I will now probably hear Stephen Rudniki's voice if I'm ever reading Orson Scott Card from paper.

At some point in the future I'm going to re-listen to them all. I read the earlier released ones on paper. I find that I have better retention of the audiobooks, and I finish them a lot faster, because I have a lot more time to listen to my player than I do to read (several hours a day versus maybe 20 minutes to read) and I don't read very fast.

I finished this book in less than a week; an ebook version on my palm I would have taken about 4 weeks to finish. On paper, probably 2 months. The problem is it takes me so long to get through a paper version that I can't really live the story. I got about halfway through Red Mars a couple of months ago, fell away from it due to work schedule, and tried to pick it back up again a week or so ago and I think I'm going to have to start over again, because I don't really remember the character interactions.
