Saga of Seven Suns book 4
Once the universe is built and the story really gets rolling, this is a heck of a story. Be warned, the entire series is essentially indivisible, you can't just read one book.
Publisher: WordFire / Brilliance Audio
Reader: David Colacci
I ripped this from library CDs which was a pain in the butt because each CD was broken into 99 chapters. So, 1684 MP3 files. I could have joined them I guess but I was too lazy. RockBox didn't like trying to index 1700 files in one directory so I broke it into 6 separate directories and had to manually select the next directory every 3 CDs.
I was able to play it at 140% normal speed with no problems at all. The reader was a bit slow and deliberate to start with. This production was a single reader, with some post-production (audio effects for radio transmission, robotic voices, etc) which I think were effective.
