I guess I'm a little surprised to be adding the first Kurosawa film. Sure, it's not mainstream, but you'd think by the time you got past #200, you'd get at least one mention of one of the most influential filmmakers of the 20th century.

I think I have a pretty weird set of movies that I've seen. There are a bunch in this list that my friends at work think it's very odd not to have seen, but there are dozens-to-hundreds not on this list that I have. For my 3, I tried to pick some favorites in as widely spaced genres as I could.
