Post tax day

johnridleyWell I made it through tax day, and we're now past electronic filing perfection period (April 20). Net results: No disasters. No files lost. However things ran very slowly. We had added a few new features, and the volume was up significantly.
We're in the process of developing an entirely new web based professional tax product, and I had thought to put all my effort into it, but the truth is that the old desktop app is not going to start shrinking (heck probably won't even stop growing) for at least 4 more years, so it turns out I'm going to have to put significant effort into it.
I have ideas, I had just not expected to implement them. I guess this will fill some of my copious spare time at work :/
