Mostly Mended
Nov. 23rd, 2022 08:06 amThe cold is mostly gone. Little bit of sniffling and the occasional cough, but the coughs are from the throat, not the lungs like they were before. Sleeping through the night now mostly without decongestants and cough syrup.
I also finished up the strep throat antibiotics, so now I get to hope my digestive system recovers quickly. Second round of antibiotics this year, I hate what they do to me but ya gotta do...
I got back to the gym yesterday. Since staying in bed and resting has definitely taken its toll, I kept it light, a mile warmup run instead of 2 or 3, and I just did one set of everything, hit the steam room and went home. I may repeat that today, then try for a more complete round on Friday.
Still fighting a stubborn issue at work that's on a deadline. No clear idea of how to solve it.
Watching a bunch of RV videos. Also kind of fixated on a really pretty retro motorcycle as a possible replacement 2nd bike next year. It's pretty but I'm not sure it's really the "next 10 years" bike that I want for my next bike - I'd like to just get a good all-rounder and stop swapping bikes. It does seem to be a disease though, so many people seem like they only keep any given bike for 2 to 5 years.
