Snagged a couple of the Sandisk 1GB MP3 players + radios at woot.com. They make excellent workout/cycling players. I had a 512M before but I gave it to T. I've been using the Zen Micro on the bike, but it's borderline big for cycling, plus I know for a fact from the previous Sandisk player that sweat can get inside players and corrode contacts.

These players will run for 10+ hours on a single AAA rechargable, and 1GB of audiobooks is quite a bit (512M didn't quite hold a full book).

If you're looking for a tiny player to use during workouts, they're $10. Can't beat that. I just grabbed a couple so I don't mind if I drop/break one or short it out in a thunderstorm.

Hmmph. I just ordered one. I'd have bought two, but I couldn't find any way to change the quantity. Did you just run multiple purposes, or is this a woot vs opera issue?

You click "I want one" then on the next page on the left it says
"Shipping? Billing?"
"Here's what we have so far:"
"You want one"
under that are two buttons:
"I want two" and "I want three"

Your choices are one, two or three. Shipping is a flat 5 dollars regardless of whether you get 1, 2 or 3.

Nope, there were no such buttons.

I had on the left: You've ordered xyz, and a color choice. On the right was my billing info. Under the left section was a 'go press the gold button' to order, and at the bottom of the right was said gold button.

Oh well, this is a backup anyway. Mine is still running well.

That sounds like the second page, which is the "order is ready to go, confirm everything then press the gold button" page. before that, I got the page described above. I'm not sure how it would work for you though since I was already signed in. I thought it worked the same way both ways though.

OK, I just installed Opera. I click "I want one" and get the login page. I put in my user ID and password, and I get to the page I described above, where it says "you want ONE." with "I want 2" and "I want 3" buttons below it, a description right below that, and color choice below that. Here's a screen cap from Opera:

The buttons are graphics. Is it possible that they're getting blocked? This is pretty plain HTML and CSS.

That screen never appeared. Probably because I went in sideways in that I had to create a user account since I never had one. Apparently that caused me to skip page two and go right to page three.

No biggie. I would have picked up a couple if I could have.

Since they gave a choice of white or pink, you know these are going to show up in the next woot-off. They'll still have 10,000 pink ones that didn't sell today.

I just went in and had to create an ID as well. I see the multiples buttons, in firefox.
