Murphy observation
Aug. 8th, 2008 08:21 amI think Murphy must be more interested in causing irritation than in minimizing pleasure.
1/2" and 9/16" wrenches are probably the most useful SAE wrenches to have. Today I found these (in two different places a couple of miles apart) on the road. They were not there yesterday.
I thought "wow, very unusual to find two such highly useful things." Then I realized that someone was going to have a significantly worse day if they got to work missing these. Therefore, the irritation caused the other guy outweighs my delight in finding these rather than something like a 5/8" wrench, or yet another screwdriver.
